My Perspective #38: “Eat wise* and exercise.” Let me explain.

(Narrated version here)

Feeling down and out? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling unmotivated? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling sad? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling overwhelmed? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling anxious? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling defeated? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling depressed? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling happy? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling on top of the world and unstoppable? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling distracted? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling behind? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling unaccomplished? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling accomplished? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling unwanted? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling abandoned? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling loved and wanted? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling discouraged? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling alone? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling sleepy? Eat wise and exercise.

Feeling too busy? Eat wise and exercise.

It’s way too easy to make lame excuses and to come up with nonsensical reasons for not taking care of ourselves.

No excuse or “reason” really matters, so quit crippling yourself by making them (no matter how good things are).

*And, yes, to all my grammar-hammers out there, I know it should be “wisely.” It just didn’t flow as well.
